The rules of the game are as follows: comment to this post with a list of your characters. Other players will provide constructive criticism and positive feedback. You do the same because community is built on reciprocity, we are told.
While we would prefer everyone be honest and open with each other and we would hope you'd feel safe voicing concerns, anonymous commenting is permitted. However, moderators will be moderating; we don't have any marshmallows, so we don't want flames going on here. Wanking is forbidden. If you don't have anything nice to say, phrase what you do have to say politely.
That said, please don't post here if you don't feel able to handle constructive criticism. A well thought-out, helpful critique can be a wonderful thing and shows that people care. When you're critiquing others, try to be specific about what works and what doesn't, as that can be very useful for pinpointing what a player should keep and what a player should let go.

FOR NATHAN. We've talked about him a lot, but I really enjoy the way his complexity comes out in a really... interesting way? Like, there are a lot of interesting contradictions and they all seem completely natural. I also really appreciate how you do his speech patterns.
And now you have me watching Metalocalypse, of all things, which rather proves the point.

And you're making me want to watch Metalocalypse so I can see more of Nathan. Sadly, I've only seen tiny bits of it during Venture Brothers >.>;

Crit on Jade is especially wanted! He is new, and annoying, and difficult, and weird. But mostly difficult. Pointing out things being done wrong with any of them is helpful, but with Jade it is especially so. Because he is silly and he smells bad.

EMIL â–º Tales of Symphonia (d2) â–º
SIRKKA â–º FreakAngels (d1) â–º
Each has personal concrit floating at the top of their journal or linked in their profile. I've been slipping a little lately with my new muses and that's mostly stress, but still, if there's something IMMENSELY WRONG please tell me so I can correct it. Also I dropped Ikki because I can't get his muse back after this crap. Sorry.

[This is indeed very awkward, and Luke doesn't help when he's just ... NICE. Asch doesn't know how to respond to nice. It makes him freeze up like Windows ME]

Argentine ☇
Luke fon Fabre ☇
Sherlock Holmes ☇
Antimony Carver ☇
&
Fujioka Haruhi ☇
Merlin ☇
The last two I'm sort of considering maybe dropping for a bit because I am failing hardcore with them and losing them and yes. But! Feedback would be lovely please. Especially on Luke and Sherlock? I'm nervous about them.
no subject
Oh, Luke.
Luke is marvelous. I mean, he's long-haired bratty everyone hates him for the first ten hours of the game Luke. But he's also wants the best for the world so that he can be useful and help people Luke. So I feel bad when Asch is Asch, but I am also like EEEEEEEE because in some ways the game didn't do him justice. I mean, yeah, he's a jerkass with a heart of gold, we know that, but only Ion seems to see it. And here in RS it's like finally getting the chance to do so. I am really enjoying the threads I have with him, especially the one with Daisuke, because it's easier to interpret the 'real' Luke when he's not surrounded by trigger people, and you're doing wonderfully.
I really suck at crit, like, I can't even find anything nitpicky, so I'm just gonna end it here. /ffffff

So, yeah, I dropped Straxus... And it's been interesting with Ten's choice recently and playing with lines (and sometimes crossing them? Hmm.)

That is all I have to say.
Also, Oliver insists that Donna needs to quit getting details of his personal life out of him. She's too persistent!

I know I've been slacking on tags. Regardless, hit me with your best shot. This goes for crit on me as well, if you think there's something that I need to fix as a player that isn't necessarily related to my characters.
Hit me with it, I can take it, and lately I've been feeling like there's something wrong. So if someone else knows what it is, that'd be good to hear. Or I could be crazy. ♥

I'm still sort of getting back on my feet with him, and occasionally I am bad at keeping up with tags because of my goldfish memory, but please let me know if there's anything awful that bugs you? I'll do my best to fix it early on rather than let it get worse.

I feel like I've been really shaky with them both, Mu especially. plz to confirm/deny/punch in the face.
They've both got personal Concrit somewhere in their journals if you'd prefer that.

One problem I've had with Isaac is that sometimes, there doesn't seem much to go off of in a response to him. And I suspect this may in part be because you're feeling shaky, so it's hard to get a response out of it. Have you considered trying to push through that and just give longer tags? Elaborate more, let the muses blurt out more? I know that sometimes when I'm having trouble with one, forcing them to actually speak more than I might want to kicks the voice and personality back into gear.

For Omega I actually have something that may be helpful: I was skimming through Paradisa, as you do, and looking at some of Omega's old threads, and I noticed that you seemed to play with the switching between Omega and Five thing more then? Perhaps one thing to consider doing is exploring that more. Omega is a very unstable person - I recall you making a point of that in his five-things meme - so it might help if you explore this, which is something that is a sort of cataclysm of conflicting things? I suggest this mainly because I know you've been having issues getting him up to things lately.

HMD post

I know for me, it would be super interesting for a character like Tamaki, since I really don't get the chance to have him dislike someone IC (unless they have the audacity to hit on Haruhi *coughAxelcough*) that often, so to deal with him feeling the repulsion effects of Sefton's polarization would be really fun to play out.
Beyond all that, it's been interesting watching Sefton have to deal with his trials in the real world back on the Plane with his time in the hospital and all that. It's nice to see how you use what's going on with him in his reality and integrate it into his "life" on the Plane and his interactions with other characters. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it in the future!

You also have a fantastic grasp of his personality. I totally giggled when you mentioned...in an ooc comment on a plot post somewhere. I don't remember exactly, but you talked about Jamie's danger sense, and it just all fits so well! Even little things, like I saw your recent thread with Jamie and Ten, and I about died when Ten tried to distract the zombies, and Jamie just kept fighting them until Ten yelled at him to run. It's such a Jamie thing to do!
So, I think you're doing a fantastic job, and I look forward to having more Jamie and Oliver fun!

2) I think you're doing well with John! One thing in particular, aside from his voice, that I appreciated was watching him dealing with Sherlock's little gaps in knowledge. I also think it's been great to have him here during a plot that really plays up to his abilities.

I really love the dynamic that Irene and Barbara are already developing and I hope it continues on because they seem to mesh really well.
Kate is just... Well, I'm bias, because she is one of my favourite Angel characters, and I can hear her voice in my head when I read your tags. If that isn't doing it right, what is? :)
I know this isn't really critty but I wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying tagging with them both.

I have been quite busy with school, and this isn't ending in the foreseeable future, so sorry for any threads I've dropped. If you have your heart set on finishing something, let me know and I'll get to it once life calms down. Which might be in December. But I will get to it.
