The rules of the game are as follows: comment to this post with a list of your characters. Other players will provide constructive criticism and positive feedback. You do the same because community is built on reciprocity, we are told.

While we would prefer everyone be honest and open with each other and we would hope you'd feel safe voicing concerns, anonymous commenting is permitted. However, moderators will be moderating; we don't have any marshmallows, so we don't want flames going on here. Wanking is forbidden. If you don't have anything nice to say, phrase what you do have to say politely.

That said, please don't post here if you don't feel able to handle constructive criticism. A well thought-out, helpful critique can be a wonderful thing and shows that people care. When you're critiquing others, try to be specific about what works and what doesn't, as that can be very useful for pinpointing what a player should keep and what a player should let go.

Commence!

I'm so glad you feel that way! A2A can be a little hit or miss, but I'm really pleased that you are enjoying my Alex regardless. And yesss, I think she and Kate have such brilliant potential!

I'm still working my way through Buffy and the first season of Angel (trying to alternate episodes as I watch) but I LOVED Kate the moment she was introduced. But it's no secret I'm a sucker for cops. :3

I keep thinking I should give it another shot, and your Alex is a big part of it. Kate and Alex could be really good for each other, I think. :D

There is much joy and woe to come! Hee, it was love at first sight for me, too. *g* I share that weakness. Give a lady a badge I'm there. I think it's Olivia Benson's fault.

jgklagfjk that is... the best compliment ever. *squish* I am assuming you've seen Life on Mars, but if you haven't, I definitely suggest starting with that... I think it makes it easier to appreciate A2A. That being said, if you can manage, give it into s2... series 1 is a little rocky, and Alex's characterization evens out more in series 2 (read: she is less intolerably crazy.).

I agree with you on that! Although I think when I go to my roots the blame has to fall on Dana Scully... Damn those awesome copper women, paving the way for more to love. :D

*squishes back!* ♥ I have, yes - which, come to think of it, is also RS's fault. (I still have issues with that finale. >:|) I may just skip to season two since I know how season one ends.

I never saw enough X-Files as a child, but Scully is indeed amazing. ...Oh god Scully and Mulder on the Plane.

To be fair, me even picking up Alex is partially the fault of the LoM cast back at a game I used to play at... Which, of course, turned out to be great because she's become such a part of my RP existence. And in that case, I'd say go ahead with series 2, then... It has a really strong opener and I think you'll get a good feel if you'll like the show right away. (As for the LoM finale, I love it and cried like a little baby. ;;)

X-Files was my LIFE as a kid. I actually play Monica Reyes in another game, and I know a fantastic Mulder. We... seriously need Mulder and Scully on the Plane omg. D:
