SO. You've seen the End of Time. Was your original Time War canon/headcanon completely fucked up? Use this post ~~of Rassilon~~ to revamp it/make some adjustments/suggestions/contribute ideas/whatever. This is totally an oncoming brainstorm to abuse however you like. :3

This makes sense! I have been debating what to do about that bit. I'd like to think Romana was in charge and Rassilon overthrew her at some point, which was when the Doctor disappeared and found his Doom Weapon of Rassilon. I wonder if Romana went with him, or if she was that mysterious Time Lady (it could have also been Flavia though).

How would he get back though, if Gallifrey was locked again? (or was it locked again?)

I do like that theory! I figure that Romana, when she knew she'd be ousted, gave him the Doom Weapon and told him to leg it.

With RTD's plot device! My Master has no reason to want to use the diamond to bring the Time Lords to Earth (he has already more than decided that he does not want old Time Lords back) but he does have things he needs from Gallifrey.

Kris has already answered this question. Although there's also the theory that he killed off everyone who wasn't Prydonian, but I doubt the house was that big.
