ON SALE
Jacob Kross is cleaning out some of the shop's inventory in preparation for some new items! Sure, he could put things in storage, but he'd really like to send them to a new home, and as such has decided it's time for a sale. It's not quite everything must go, but he sure would appreciate the extra space on the shelves!
To make sure everyone is aware of this sale, he's had letters delivered to every character making them aware of the absolutely low prices for some of the items he feels are of particular interest. There's a whole world of things to buy, some mundane, some less so. Take a gamble and come on down; maybe something will catch your eye.
For now, he has listed the sale as starting today and lasting until May 7th but depending on turnout, he might extend that cutoff for interested parties. Plus, he could use any extra space.

Okay, SO! Where is this all going to take place? Over at the Hosts page on the mod journal? And what kind of ~things~ exactly, and what kind of price? I don't think any of mine have bought a single thing from the shop in the past (they've only used it for info, and even then, that was mostly with Grey and the two guys from the death matches).

The things, of course, can be just about anything. From old signs, to arcane books, cat bells, weapons, letters... the mundane to the not so mundane. Maybe you just want some regular hats. Or maybe you want a hat that makes you an expert at chess so long as you wear it! If there's something specific wanted, Kross can probably find something that is at least close to what you'd like.
The prices vary - if you want to pay cash, he'll set a price. If you don't want to deal in cash, he's certain something could be worked out as payment. He needs the shelf space, after all, and if someone really wants something, he wants to get it that new home!

I am curious about items too. Are some going to tie into older plots and things and stuff and such?

Some might! Some might not. Some may even come into play in a mod plot capacity later. Though I fully encourage players to use whatever items they get for their own plots if they think of anything, provided they buy something that gives you ideas!
I've got a file I've been maintaining since December with various things, so. And I'll be keeping track of who has what in case of any future developments.
