This is the plot of Recursive Mind Buddies!

WHAT IS IT?

Characters are suddenly mentally connected to other characters. They are linked in pairs. The link is emotional; they experience each other's emotions, sometimes to the point where it may be hard to distinguish who is feeling what. They could quite possibly get caught up in feedback loops: one character gets annoyed by the annoyance of another, which intensifies the annoyance sent backwards and so on until someone gets punched.

The characters are at no point going to be informed whose emotions they are feeling. They will have to work this out for themselves. Which may be easier than they expect.

WHERE DOES THIS WORK?

It works on and off the Plane. Characters are constantly connected to one another, even across realities. In addition, certain emotional triggers may yank one character from their reality into the reality of another character.

Trigger emotions can vary. If a character tends to feel anger particularly strongly, then when they feel that emotion on high, their partner might be yanked through to their reality. Likewise a character who tends towards passionate happiness having an ecstatic moment. It doesn't have to be an emotion they feel often, just something they feel strongly. You can have more than one trigger in your character.

WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE WITH PSYCHIC POWERS?

For people with psychic powers, it may actually get worse. They may be able to shield it, but only if they concentrate on their shields constantly, and the bond will increase over time in an attempt to overcome the shields.

WHEN IS THIS HAPPENING?

This will last from the 25th to the 31st !
