La Resistance!

Hello fellow resistance movement people! As mentioned here, there is going to be a second match of the day this Friday and that's when we'll attack! Rawr!

For those who may not have gotten to that point in their tags with Ten in this entry--or are just seeing this now, the IC plan for stopping the matches is this: People who are going to help Ten break the barrier are to go to the Coliseum at an appointed time--more like when he gives them the all-go from the built-in communicator in the watch he gave everyone--and once the match has gotten under way, everyone can start powering up and when their synchronised watches go off, it's time to attack the barrier. Ideally, everyone is to hit it at the same time. They'll also have been told that once the barrier is broken, a device will be put in place to prevent it from coming back up and those who broke the barrier should get out of the Coliseum. Ten didn't tell people why, exactly, he wanted everyone to get away. He was warned that things could get much worse for those involved, so the less people hanging around when the second part of the plan goes into action, the better. (The second part, which the Doctor never really related to people involves taking the tarot cards from the king and Weber and using three cards on them to send them out of this multi-verse. Ideally, not many people will be involved in this part.) And that's the IC plan!

All right now for the point of this post! First of all, how many people are interested in posting to the actual log? Or would you simply like to offer up your characters as being there and imply they were participating in the attack? Please comment and specify what you'd like to do!

I ask because from there, we're going to need some team leaders to head things up and tag to log entry once it's been put up on Friday. The number will definitely depend on how many people we've got volunteering to tag in, and ideally, we'd like to keep the groups small so people won't have to be waiting for too long for their turn. Roxas will be heading up one of the teams, and for right now, we're shooting for three other another team leader to start with. If we get more people volunteering to tag into the log, we'll tack on another leader or two depending on how many more there are.

In the group threads is where all the action in taking out the barrier will take place and everyone can have their moment of power summoning and barrier shattering fun! Like I said above, Ten has been advising people to do the barrier shattering stuff then getting out of there as quickly as possible, so it's up to you if you want your character(s) to simply drop from the Plane or run away from there. A post-barrier shattering/celebration entry to the main comm can be put up if people are interested!

After the group leaders have all tagged in, the mods will put in an extra thread underneath that for the shattering barrier leading to the end solution with Weber and the King. This way, people can continue with the team barrier shattering stuff while the second part of the plan goes into motion.

Ummm, I think that's it. I think. I feel like I'm forgetting something though, so feel free to poke me with questions and such? I'll edit this entry if/when I need to.

I think I'll have Sirius there on the barrier team, and possibly Damon, but I'll just imply that they were there since this weekend is going to be crazy-busy for me. :( Nine, however, will definitely be part of the end solution (in a non-implied way) if that's cool!

Also, question -- will it be possible to attack the barrier with technology of some sort, or just magic?

Mu will be there in Log, and Isaac will be implied to be there. Mu is also offering to teleport nearby people away once they barrier is down (since that's what he's going to do andit's no big if he takes someone with him)

I'd like to have Jamie there for the log, but I'm not sure how much I'll actually be able to do on Friday and Saturday. Depends a lot on work and how busy that is. You wouldn't happen to have a rough idea of when things were going to get started offhand, would you?

When I'm able to access the internet at midnight (which is not tonight, unfortunately) they go up then. Otherwise, they go up when I wake up, which can be anywhere from 9AM to 4PM. I apologize for the variability.

Well, OOCly, he didn't. The ones where people had put them in to potentially kill off their characters couldn't be interrupted. I'd asked the mods about it.

ICly, he's been making preparations and stuff for the second part of the plan and left the Plane to collect things from his TARDIS, hence his missing the first match of the day and going for the second. (And prior to that, he had to have another talk with Weber and the king because of a gaping hole in his original plan that he's now fixed.)

I would love to say that Naminé and Kuhn are both there, but it may have to be implied depending on how busy life gets. I have Marta set to be in the fight that gets broken up, so the two barrier-attackers may fall by the wayside...

If need be, we can work either of them in with a team. So far, we have Roxas as a definite team leader, so we probably could finagle Naminé in with him if you definitely wanted to log there, and the same would go for Kuhn. If you keep communicating with the other players and let them know if you want to sit out a round or whatever, I think that'll work. But it's all up to you. ♥

I'm actually going to have Emil present since his girlfriend is in the match, and Roxas is his bff. Sirkka will be implied to be there with a GIANT PURPLE LAZOR BEAM. And also ushering people out when the barrier is down. Axel will be a background character as well. Mmm, dark fireballs. Good times.
