1. Essays.
2. The plague.
3. Computer breakdowns.

...And all three have happened to me at the same time. TOP JOB THERE, LIFE!

I'll still try to pop on a bit, due to awesome plot, but unfortunately Emilia, Claudius, Cally, Brigitta and Juni will all be a bit absent for a while. I'm hoping that it's only for a week but... Yeah.

So, October has not been my friend.

What initially looked to be friendly enough has dealt me several blows, both personally and professionally. And now it looks as if a mere 8 weeks before the holidays my entire management staff will be changing at work. It is just a lot, all at once.

So a month I had hoped would lead to reconnection has left me floundering. I briefly wondered if it was a sign it was time to simply cut ties. I have clearly struggled of late, and the majority of the CR I have here has slowly been lost. Which only adds to my difficulties.

But I can't quite bring myself to do that. Not yet. So I am settling for somewhere in the middle.

I am placing myself on hiatus for the rest of the month, at least until I can get a new staff in place. With Reinette. I have decided to let River go. I love her dearly, but I need to free her up for someone that will love her more actively.

I miss you all and hope to sort things through soon.
