Maybe that's part of why he and Menzies work well together because she understands his seriousness about his job pretty well? I think I know what you mean because I sometimes feel terrible about Menzies ordering people around or mouthing off at them. I WANT TO BE NICER. But better to be IC, ne? But I meant that you show both that side of Kay and his more fussy side that really does (somewhat-outwardly) care. It's just better hidden--as it should be! And I will forever love his and Menzies' interactions.
