Hey, listen!
After two years, some cracks have been made into the shells of the Plane's defences. In fact, several individuals have been able to realize that their home realities are unreal. Unfortunately for them, get got zapped with the forget hammer and couldn't tell many people, but now that people are prying further into the workings of the Machine, that defence has been shut off.
Accordingly, all characters who realized that their realities are unreal can now remember this and whatever else their 'Perfection' made them forget. Further, they can say it freely as they like.
Depending on how characters react to this, several changes to the situation may be enacted by the Machine to compensate.
