Game update info times!


THE SHOP

Those of you who frequent the shop (or even just drop by it) may notice something a bit off. The shop is no longer constantly manned, and sometimes is just completely empty. The doors remain unlocked despite the occassional abandonment, allowing characters to root around through the building.

Can we take things? Oh, certainly! Who is to stop you? The only person who might be around is that gigantic dog/wolf thing, and he's usually asleep! And Meredith, she's a busy woman, she can't just hang around there all day if the shop's owners have seemingly disappeared from their posts. But if you take something, leave us a comment on the NPC post so we can know what it was. The shop has pretty much every sort of item you can imagine.

What happens if we take something? Currently, nothing, unless the item itself has some ability or curse to it, which many of them do. But there's always the chance someone or something will want all stolen property returned...

What does this mean exactly? Lapis and Lazuli are no longer reachable at this time through the NPC post, leaving your two easy to get choices as Meredith and Derogative, though there is a chance of some other NPC showing up instead. As well, new characters no longer bump into the twins when they first enter the shop; they are either greeted by Meredith, Derogative, or just wander into a completely empty store that they're sure wasn't there a few days ago.

We'll also be updating the info pages to reflect these changes.

Since we've had a lot of turn-over in our characters, the mods are going to be clearing out the reserves list soon and replacing it with what people you want. Assume everything that's been put there will be removed so this enabling meme can do its double-duty.

-comment around enabling others and getting enabled
-when it's through, the mods will add all the requested characters to the cleaned up Requests Page
