SETTING

Each team is on their own an isolated island in the Caribbean overgrown jungle island, about five miles in diameter. There are no dangerous animals in it, but there are your usual birds and lizards and cute fluffy things.

MISSION

This may have to be adjusted depending on the number of sign-ups. Essentially, however, it is this:

Characters are put into two-person teams, and each team is partnered against one other team and the teams are put in a meelee fight. Each team has twenty-four hours to kill the other teams without losing a member themselves. If one person on your team dies, you die as well, and the other side wins. If you try to kill yourself or aren't fighting sincerely, the person on your team dies and your world will quite possibly be destroyed. So you better fight sincerely. If you win, you get a pie, a wish, and one question that Ezra will answer truthfully.

FORMAT

Starting Log: There will be a starting log where characters can mingle. Ezra will explain the situation to them, then allow them to choose one weapon from the weapons table that was formerly sealed. Once they choose their weapon, they will be teleported out to their own private jungle. No matter when they, their partner, or their opponents chose their weapon, they will all appear on the jungle at the same time.

Team Log: We'll set up a log for each pair of teams. Each team arrives in the log together in a separate corner of the island. From that point, muns are free to do as they like. Two-on-one fights as one team corners the weak member of another? Intense one-on-one face-offs? Threads of one team setting up a trap and another team falling into it? Whatever works best for this game.

COLLARS

Collars connect partners together (they're colour coded! One is blue team, one is red team! Exciting!) and also negate all consequences granted by the Plane since the beginning of the plot, meaning that no one can leave the Plane and no one has any of their new abilities or disadvantages. If your partner's collar is destroyed or if your partner dies, your collar will kill you. It's just neater that way.

ALSO, YOUR REALITY IS SCREWED IF YOU DON'T PLAY ALONG

If a character fails to fight sincerely or in any other way tries to sacrifice themselves for the other team, they will no longer have a world. They will be trapped on the Plane forever and ever and ever after having been responsible for ending their universe.

If you have a team of two people, and one person refuses to actually try to fight or tries to kill themselves, then only the self-sacrificing one will lose their universe, so at least there is that comfort. The collars can tell the difference between hesitating because you've never killed before and deliberately downplaying your abilities to let someone else win, so every character just has to remember to do their best, like a twisted afterschool special. Ezra will explain this clearly.

LIVE SPORT

Also, there will be bigscreen televisions set up all over the Plane so people can watch the blood sport. The monsters leave the televisions alone, so watching other people try to kill each other is a fairly good way to avoid getting slaughtered yourself.

SIGN-UPS

Textarea boxes!

Sign-ups are screened as always because we like surprises. You can sign-up until Sunday. The fights will start Monday.

To make this easier, we request that you only submit one character per mun.

Additionally, remember that the entire universe is being put under threat here. It is thus strongly advised that no character who wouldn't fight is put in these fights, because it is not an idle threat. However, it will only happens if a character refuses to fight sincerely. If you think your character is going to destroy their entire universe so they don't get blood directly on their hands, you must clear it with canonmates first. As long as they participate, it won't be a problem, so if your character is willing to fight, then there's no need to worry about it.
