ALLERGY SEASON
Hello, one and all! We have a plot brought to you by the lovely Jchan for the early days of September!
Allergies? Allergies!
The plot will be kicked off by Rory Williams (
dissedthesonic) arriving on the Plane after an adventure, but he has unknowingly brought something with him: a kind of pollen. It doesn't act immediately; it will start out by giving a good case of hay fever if they have pollen allergies, but it's what happens AFTER the pollen's gone through a person's system that matters. Once it's gone, it leaves a person changed somehow. How a character is changed is up to the player. Maybe it makes them remember things they thought were forgotten, maybe it pulls a Jekyll or Mr. Hyde on them and there's a switch in personality. Maybe there's a physical change and characters change into animals, switch sexes, etc.
The Spread!!
We're taking some artistic license with the spread of the pollen. The pollen has a limited life-cycle. Once it gets to Plane, the spore only lives for a week, so any spores still out there will die out after that amount of time. However, the people who breathe a spore in and "are allergic to it" (meaning those who want to participate in it) get infected, start getting all itchy/scratchy, develop the rash, and then, well, change.
Secondary Symptoms
There will be one thing in common among all those affected: a rash. The size and pain of the rash matches the degree of the change. Someone who underwent a tiny change will have a smaller rash, while someone who underwent a huge change may have a rash all over their back.
Solutions:
Since this is a player plot, there should be a way to solve it; both the affected and the unaffected will have a part to play. After all, those who don't participate in the changes part of it will be valuable too. Why were they left alone? They didn't get sick and start sneezing their brains out--then change into whatever they've changed into. These characters, in actuality, simply aren't allergic to the pollen. That's the first thing characters need to work out.
After that, they have to work out the solution. Because all this started as an allergy, it's be only fair that an allergy medicine is what fixes everything. Naturally, not every world would have allergy meds, so characters may have to do some connecting to get the allergy meds. Any kind of allergy medication from any world will do, but you have to get it first.
Lasting effects:
Taking the medicine won't get people out scott-free. Characters will have some aftermath, though the more they take their medication, the better their recovery will be. Psychological/memory changes might linger for a while, slowly fading out. Physical transformations will change back pretty quickly, but characters may have to cope with some phantom limb feelings for a while.
START TIME/END TIME
The start will be September 1st (this Saturday). The ending date will be whenever those meds get in!
Comments, Questions, Concerns?
As usual, leave them here!
NOTE:
Future OOC posts will be made by Jchan, who will be helming this plot! A post from Rory will be what kicks off the plot.

She will likely bitch and complain about them. She will also very likely troll the shit out of people with them.
She's going to have to steal a bra from Cloche or somethingThe rash will be right below her belly button, where her installer port is. Again, because I'm terrible. I am now officially waiting for the dirty jokes. Don't worry, it's totally canon.
